Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Culinary Aide to assist with the preparation and service of meals for residents and staff. You will follow food safety practices, utilize standardized recipes, and ensure meals are served at the correct temperatures and appealingly.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean kitchen, recording temperatures, assisting with inventory, and supporting a cooperative team in a long-term care setting.

• Follows standardized recipes and portion controls.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and reports hazards.
• Records food temperatures and logs as required.
• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and reports malfunctions.
• Works with team to ensure smooth service and resident satisfaction.
• Adheres to infection control standards and safety policies.
