Job summary

Responsibilities include portioning, labeling, storing food, recording temperatures, keeping the kitchen clean, and cooperating with team members to meet schedules and quality expectations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service.
• Serves meals and snacks according to diet orders and preferences.
• Keeps work area clean and uncluttered; performs cleaning as required.
• Follows safety procedures and infection control techniques.
• Observes portion control and uses proper utensils.
• Notes temperatures and refrigerations and reports discrepancies.
• Assists in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for incoming food, supplies, etc.
• Maintains the security of the kitchen.
• Performs all duties using proper safety techniques.
