Cascadia Healthcare's Sequim facility is seeking a friendly Culinary Aide to support the preparation and service of meals for residents, staff, and special events. You will follow established menus, ensure proper temperatures, and present items attractively while maintaining strict food safety practices.

This role emphasizes teamwork in a long-term care setting. Weekend shifts may be required; a Food Handlers Permit is preferred where required by state regulations.

Formación

• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to read, speak, understand and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and portion food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure meals are served at proper temperatures and presented attractively.
• Use standardized recipes and maintain correct portion control.
• Deliver meals to designated areas according to schedule.
• Record food temperatures and monitor refrigerator/freezer temps.
• Assist in dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness.
• Occasionally assist with inventory and stock reports as directed.
