• Delivers meals and snacks according to established schedules.
• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service.
• Serves resident meals accurately according to diet orders and preferences.
• Uses correct portion control utensils during preparation and service.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly.
• Keeps refrigerators/freezers at correct temperatures and records logs as required.
• Washes dishes and maintains cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Keeps work area clean and uncluttered.
• Performs cleaning assignments and uses proper cleaning chemicals.
• Follows infection control techniques and uses protective equipment.
• Ensures items are available for the next meal and stores items properly to prevent contamination.
• Assists in receiving and verifying invoices for food and supplies.
• Reports inadequate stock levels to the supervisor.
• Uses food supplies efficiently to prevent waste.
• Maintains kitchen security and safe operations.
