Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will oversee quality, safety, inventory, and staff, ensuring compliance with menus and regulations while providing excellent resident experiences.

The role requires supervising and training the food service team, communicating with clients and administrators, and hands-on involvement in daily tasks. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or higher in food service management, or hospitality.
• Two years of quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred or as required by law.
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training and in-service sessions; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Use protective gear and report equipment needs or malfunctions promptly.
• Follow infection control and sanitary procedures.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with supervisors, staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
