Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following sanitation guidelines and contributing to a positive dining experience for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include following planned menus, assisting with inventory, and delivering excellent customer service in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
