Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, maintain quality, and uphold safety standards while delivering friendly, high-quality service to residents and staff.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, cooking experience, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; compliance with vaccination policies and state rules is required, with opportunity for training and career

Qualifications

• Previous cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
