Job summary

University of California - San Francisco seeks a Resident and Fellow Affairs Specialist to manage visiting resident programs with BCH Oakland and UCSF West Bay Trainees. You will coordinate schedules, track compliance, and support the credentialing processes for externals and housestaff rotations.

You will work with Program Directors, attending physicians, and administrative teams to ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and seamless operations in a dynamic GME environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with health professions education program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Visiting Resident and Fellows rotating at BCH Oakland (External & UCSF West Bay Trainees).
• Oversee course schedules, goals, objectives, and course materials, plus site orientations and systems training.
• Maintain trainee database, compliance tracking, and reports; ensure adherence to ACGME/CODA policies.
• Collaborate with Program Directors, attending physicians and staff to resolve scheduling and policy issues.
• Assist with onboarding housestaff trainees and credentialing processing.
