UCSF Health is seeking a Resident and Fellow Affairs Specialist to manage day-to-day credentialing and administrative operations for visiting residents and fellows within the Department of Graduate Medical Education. You will interact with program directors and clinicians to ensure smooth scheduling and compliance.

The role emphasizes independent, detail-oriented program coordination, database maintenance, and alignment with accreditation standards, improving learner experiences and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of policies and regulatory requirements governing health professions education.
  • Experience communicating clearly in written and oral forms with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze processes and improve program operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day appointment process of credentialing external visiting residents and fellows.
  • Provide administrative services to the Department of Graduate Medical Education.
  • Support scheduling, database tracking, and program accreditation activities.
  • Collaborate with Program Directors, attending physicians, and staff to resolve scheduling conflicts.
