Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking a Customer Experience Associate for The Slate in Cincinnati, OH. The role centers on delivering excellent service to residents and prospects, building relationships, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations on-site.

You will be the first on-site contact, addressing inquiries, guiding leasing options, and supporting events while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and community experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• One year or more years in a customer service, sales, or customer facing role.
• Be a self-starter with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in property management software (Onesite/Yardi), Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.
• Exhibit professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
• Desire for professional development and continuous learning.
• Ability to manage one’s time.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospects and residents to deliver exceptional service.
• Provide detailed information about units, amenities, and leasing options.
• Follow up with leads to support lease closings and a smooth prospect journey.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Address and resolve resident concerns and maintenance questions.
• Maintain accurate records in the property management system and generate KPI reports.
• Assist with leasing documents, updates, and communications.
• Support resident events and programs to enhance community experience.
