Job summary

The Annex Group is seeking a Community Manager to lead resident services and day-to-day property operations in Milwaukee. You will ensure excellent customer experiences, support our mission, and uphold housing compliance across programs.

Ideal candidates bring 2-3 years of management experience, strong communication, budgeting basics, and a genuine care for residents. This on-site role requires driving within the Milwaukee area and familiarity with LIHTC regulations.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years previous management experience required.
• Must possess authentic and genuine care for residents.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and budgeting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Familiarity with social media and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent experiences for residents, vendors, community partners, investors, and owners.
• Excellent execution of resident services that positively impact lives.
• Maintain curb appeal and property appearance standards.
• Aim for above-average resident survey results.
• Manage property to meet occupancy goals and stay within budget.
• Adhere to company policies and SOPs.
• Comply with LIHTC program requirements and reporting.
• Lead property team to ensure policy adherence.
• Document all internal and external reporting accurately.
• Handle daily accounting: A/R and A/P.
• Maintain health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
