Job summary

Related Affordable Housing is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community’s shared spaces, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. You will keep common areas safe, clean, and inviting for residents and visitors, supporting a positive resident experience.

The role requires 1–2 years of janitorial or porter experience, basic light maintenance knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years janitorial/porter experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Basic knowledge of light maintenance tasks.
• Snow removal and landscaping experience a plus.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
• Clean and maintain all common areas to high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain floors, vacuum carpets and wash hard surfaces.
• Wash walls, doors and windows in shared areas.
• Replace light bulbs in common area fixtures.
