Job summary

Madison Apartment Group is seeking a Floating Leasing Consultant to be the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, guiding tours, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins to ensure a positive rental experience.

The role requires at least two years of sales/leasing experience, strong customer service, solid organization and communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
  • Lead property tours, show vacant units, and market property amenities to close sales and maintain occupancy.
  • Handle all activities related to apartment rentals and move-ins, including qualifying prospects and preparing lease documentation.
  • Assist in planning and participating in resident functions and community events.
  • Maintain knowledge of the market and generate prospects through effective advertising and follow-up.
  • Manage resident service requests and collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution.
  • Inspect models, vacancies, and grounds to ensure cleanliness and report service needs.
  • Assist in managing site social media platforms and maintain resident records.
  • Complete lease applications, verify applications, and notify prospective residents of decisions.
  • Organize and file reports, leases, and paperwork.
