Job summary

The Domain Companies in New York is seeking a Leasing Specialist to be the face of our residential community, guiding prospects from inquiry to lease signing with a high-touch experience.

You will lease apartments, build a strong pipeline, collaborate on marketing strategies with the corporate team, and coordinate smooth move-ins and resident services while maintaining property standards. Flexibility for weekends and a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of market rate leasing experience preferred.
• Prior lease-up experience is required.
• Customer-focused with a warm demeanor and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments to prospective tenants and maximize revenue.
• Prospect relentlessly to generate traffic and close leases.
• Develop and monitor a marketing strategy in partnership with corporate marketing.
• Coordinate seamless move-in and move-out experiences for residents.
• Ensure properties are well maintained and services meet residents' needs.
• Provide local area knowledge and guidance on activities and services.
• Plan, coordinate, and promote resident events.
• Be proactive in problem solving and take on additional initiatives as needed.
• Seek opportunities to lead and support company objectives.
