Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the first impression for prospective and current residents. You will manage tours, close leases, and ensure a high-quality move-in experience.

The role requires strong communication and a knack for building relationships. Prior leasing or property management experience is preferred, with opportunities to engage in marketing and events across the community.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, hospitality or customer service.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OneSite and YieldStar preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage leasing process from tour to move-in, including closing the sale and lease documents.
• Showcase community features related to customer needs.
• Ensure smooth renewals with a customer-focused approach.
• Use creative marketing and social media to increase traffic.
• Support occupancy and retention goals via follow-ups.
• Handle unpredictable situations with good judgment.
• Maintain knowledge of community and competitors to inform prospects.
• Promote positive resident relations with timely responses.
• Prepare lease documents, resident files, and related records with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with team to plan and host resident events.
• Assist in other projects as needed.
