Balfour Beatty Communities in Groton, CT seeks a Customer Experience Specialist to drive exceptional living experiences and engage with prospects, residents and partners. You will manage inquiries, guide applicants through leasing, move-in, renewal and move-out processes, and help create memorable living moments across the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Property Management or Hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Possession of a valid state issued Driver’s License and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to all community inquiries in line with policies.
• Deliver high resident experience through professional interactions.
• Create memorable living experiences during customer encounters.
• Attract new prospects and respond to inquiries to grow residency.
• Follow up with qualified prospects in line with policy.
• Renew residents at end of lease terms where required.
• Monitor waitlists and communicate according to policy.
• Inspect the property to identify deficiencies and address them.
• Prepare property for daily showings and coordinate model units.
• Conduct move-in pre-inspections and move-out inspections using software.
• Assist with Lifeworks events and activities as required.
• Understand lease agreements and community policies to assist residents.
• Conduct market surveys to compare competition and advantages.
• Understand company software usage and policies.
