Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities seeks a Customer Experience Specialist in Frederick, MD to drive exceptional living experiences across marketing, sales and resident engagement. You will handle inquiries, guide applicants through leasing, renewals and move-ins, and create memorable showings with a focus on outstanding service.

Applicants should have strong customer service skills, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience; property management or hospitality preferred.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and communication abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Valid state driver's license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to all community inquiries per Exceptional Living Policies.
• Deliver high levels of resident experience through professional interactions.
• Attract prospects and respond to inquiries to drive occupancy.
• Follow up with qualified prospects according to policy.
• Renew residents at end of lease terms.
• Monitor waitlists and coordinate showings.
• Prepare property for daily showings and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.
• Coordinate Lifeworks events as required.
• Maintain knowledge of lease agreements and community policies.
• Conduct market surveys to compare competition.
