RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, process applications, and manage leases and renewals while promoting resident satisfaction through effective communication. You will handle rent collections and evictions and support social media outreach to boost property visibility.

The role is on-site and requires strong organizational and customer service skills, with a focus on Fair Housing compliance and move-in/out coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Background in accounting plus customer service is a plus; proficient with MS Office and PM basics.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects using guest cards and assist with applications and deposits per procedures.
• Maintain availability reports, process applications, credit checks, and renewal approvals.
• Show apartments, obtain signatures, and orient new residents.
• Manage lease renewals, notices, move-outs, and update property records.
• Oversee rental collections, enforce terms, and handle evictions when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident questions and resolve service issues.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist with court proceedings as needed.
• Conduct market research and improve property outreach and social media presence.
• Complete required paperwork for leases, move-ins/outs, and peak periods.
