Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to greet prospects, assist with applications, manage leases and renewals, and collect rents while upholding fair housing standards. You will drive resident satisfaction through effective communication, coordinate move-ins/outs, and support marketing efforts to maximize property visibility on-site at our Texas communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing.
• Microsoft Office Suite and project management skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software.
• Assist prospects with applications and deposits, adhering to company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Keep an updated availability report, process applications (including credit checks and rental history verification).
• Submit applications for the Community Manager's approval and follow up with applicants.
• Show apartments and close sales, prepare them for move-ins, and collect signatures on paperwork.
• Manage lease renewals, send renewal notices, and handle move-outs per lease terms.
• Manage rental collections, enforce lease terms, track fees, and initiate evictions when needed.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and service requests.
• Follow eviction procedures and assist with proceedings as needed.
