Job summary

Cirrus Asset Management, a dedicated property management firm, is hiring a Leasing Consultant to greet prospects, tour units, and explain lease terms. You will promote amenities, assist applicants, and maintain organized files to ensure smooth operations with the property team.

You will collaborate with the Property Manager and maintenance staff to ensure high-quality service, conduct move-in/move-out inspections, and support retention efforts while delivering excellent resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of property management software, preferably Yardi.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience - Preferred.
• Excellent customer service; able to navigate all types of situations.
• Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws and Cal-OSHA.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet and tour prospective residents.
• Promote available units and amenities via online platforms, signage, and outreach.
• Explain lease terms, application requirements, and pricing.
• Maintain accurate resident files.
• Coordinate with Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work.
• Process re-certifications, renewals, and assist with retention efforts.
• Explain lease provisions and community policies to residents.
• Assist applicants with the application process.
• Create and update waitlists.
• Complete reports assigned by Property Manager.
• Ensure resident satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
• Conduct move-in/move-out inspections with residents.
