Job summary

Essex Property Trust in Redmond, WA is seeking a Community Relations Manager to lead a team of community relations representatives and deliver an exceptional resident experience across the portfolio.

You will oversee resident communications and inquiries, coordinate move-in and move-out processes, coach staff for timely, professional service, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws, while working on-site five days per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of property management experience with 1-2+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to supervise two or more associates.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of community relations representatives.
• Manage resident communications and move-in/out processes.
• Coach staff to address resident concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws (Fair Housing, OSHA).
• Manage budgets and office expenses.
• Work on-site five days a week.
• Coordinate resident events.
