NPAworldwide is assisting a leading global consultancy in Newark, NJ, to hire a Resident Engineer for the Hudson Tunnel Project. This landmark program will enhance capacity, safety, and resilience of rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers.

You will oversee TBM design oversight, precast lining, field and office engineering, with a strong focus on safety and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven TBM experience and tunneling background.
• Experience with pressurized face TBM mining and segmental lining.
• Strong project management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid knowledge of safety standards and best practices in tunneling.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, supervise, and coordinate technical engineering activities for tunneling.
• Represent Construction Management in daily meetings with the contractor.
• Support senior CM staff with technical input.
• Oversee TBM design, fabrication, and operations review.
• Oversee precast concrete tunnel lining segments delivery and installation.
• Coordinate with project team to meet tunneling schedules and specs.
• Monitor progress, ground conditions, and excavation parameters.
• Review geotechnical/structural monitoring data and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare progress reports and TBM operation documentation.
