Platinum Global Talent Solutions Ltd. seeks a seasoned Resident Engineer, Tunnel Engineering SME for the Hudson Tunnel Project in New Jersey. You will lead technical direction, supervise field engineering, and coordinate with construction management to advance tunneling milestones.

This role demands TBM experience, precast lining expertise, and strong safety and quality focus to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance across a major capital program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience working with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).
• Tunneling experience with pressurized face TBMs, precast concrete segmental lining, and cross passage construction.
• Excellent project management skills coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations in tunneling operations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects and field engineering assignments.
• Represent Construction Management during Daily Construction Meetings with the Contractor.
• Support Senior CM Staff with technical input.
• Manage oversight of TBM design, fabrication, and operation during tunneling.
• Oversee precast concrete tunnel lining segments design, fabrication, delivery, and installation.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure timely tunneling completion per specs.
• Monitor tunneling progress, ground conditions, and excavation parameters.
• Review geotechnical and structural monitoring data.
• Implement safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Prepare progress reports and TBM operation documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions during tunneling.
• Coordinate with Outreach Team and Third-Party Stakeholders.
