Platinum Global Talent Solutions is seeking a Resident Engineer, Tunnel Engineering SME for the Hudson Tunnel Project to lead technical and field engineering tasks in a landmark rail corridor.

The role requires TBM experience, strong project management, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams while upholding safety and quality standards on a major capital project in the Northeast US.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).
• Experience in pressurized face TBM mining and segmental lining.
• Strong project management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Develop, execute, supervise, and coordinate technical and field engineering tasks.
• Represent Construction Management during Daily Construction Meetings.
• Support Senior CM Staff with technical input.
• Oversee TBM design, fabrication, and operation.
• Oversee precast concrete tunnel lining segments fabrication, delivery, installation.
• Coordinate with project team to meet tunneling schedules and specs.
• Monitor tunneling progress, ground conditions, and excavation parameters.
• Review geotechnical and structural monitoring data.
• Implement safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Prepare progress reports and TBM operation documentation.
• Troubleshoot tunneling issues and provide solutions.
• Coordinate with Outreach Team and Third-Party Stakeholders.
