Job summary

Vitality Living in Athens, GA seeks an Engagement Director to develop and promote purposeful on- and off-site resident programming aligned with the Vivid Life objectives. You will cultivate meaningful connections with residents, families, and the broader community, guiding engagement calendars and events that reflect residents' interests.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with older adults in an engagement role.
• Knowledge of aging and domains of wellness applicable to engagement programming.
• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful, and individualized programming.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle for residents and staff.
• Develop and follow monthly engagement calendars and daily schedules.
• Leverage technology to enhance engagement for residents and team members.
• Lead planning for special events and larger community activities, including Memory Care with the team.
• Coordinate with family members and new residents during Vital Connections process.
• Supervise Engagement Coordinator(s) and Transportation staff; collaborate with Wellness team.
