Job summary

Vitality seeks an Engagement Coordinator to plan and execute engaging activities for residents in a Memory Care setting. You will coordinate monthly calendars, promote a vibrant lifestyle, and work closely with the Memory Care Director and team to tailor programs to individual interests.

The role requires Alzheimer’s knowledge, strong communication with residents and families, and reliable transportation for resident engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals who have Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia progression for memory care.
• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful, individualized programming.
• Effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Basic computer skills for engagement tracking and scheduling.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and promote activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle.
• Transport residents safely as needed.
• Create and maintain monthly engagement calendars and schedules.
• Collaborate with Memory Care/Engagement Directors and team members.
• Develop relationships with families and coordinate community partnerships.
