Job summary

Lift To Rise is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator in Palm Desert, CA. The role focuses on building resident relationships, strengthening leadership, and supporting housing advocacy initiatives.

Occasional travel within the Coachella Valley is required, with on-site work at the Palm Desert office and some evening/weekend commitments. The coordinator will plan and facilitate meetings, coordinate outreach, and help implement community-driven priorities while collaborating with the Associate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 years of work or intensive volunteer experience.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Experience in community organizing or resident engagement or grassroots outreach.
• Familiarity with Zoom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning activities with partners and data-driven improvement plans.
• Facilitate community and resident meetings to guide action plans.
• Coordinate resident engagement activities and track progress with leadership.
• Help build data management infrastructure for CANs to measure progress.
• Strengthen relationships with community stakeholders and Lift to Rise partners.
• Travel across the Coachella Valley to perform on-site duties.
