Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferably one year of experience in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct individual and group activities.
• Assist in communicating with residents, families, and staff to meet resident needs.
• Develop monthly activity calendars and maintain attendance records.
• Assist with activity care plans and resident assessments.
• Arrange transportation for residents for outings or appointments.
• Maintain a clean and organized Activity Department.
