Job summary

Lawrence Healthcare in Arkansas is seeking an Activities Aide to plan, organize, and facilitate recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in our long‑term care facility, promoting engagement and quality of life.

You will work with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are safe, respectful, and aligned with resident care plans; transporting residents and CNA duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a CNA in the state of Arkansas.
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Prior Activities Experience in a long term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and facilitate recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Promote resident engagement, independence, and quality of life by tailoring activities to individual interests and abilities.
• Work with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are safe, respectful, and aligned with care plans.
• Assist with transporting residents and may perform CNA duties as needed.
