Lawrence Healthcare in Arkansas is seeking an Activities Aide to plan, organize, and facilitate recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in our long‑term care facility, promoting engagement and quality of life.

You will work with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are safe, respectful, and aligned with resident care plans; transporting residents and CNA duties may be required.

Competenze

• Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a CNA in the state of Arkansas.
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Prior Activities Experience in a long term care facility preferred.

Job Summary

The Activities Aide assists with planning, organizing, and facilitating meaningful recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in the long-term care facility. This position promotes resident engagement, socialization, independence, and quality of life by providing activities that accommodate residents’ individual interests, abilities, and needs. The Activities Aide works closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are conducted safely, respectfully, and in accordance with facility policies and resident care plans. The Activity Aide will assist with transporting residents. May work as a C.N.A.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a C.N.A in the state of Arkansas. Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program. Prior Activities Experience in a long term care facility preferred.
