Job summary

Extended Care LLC is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activity Aide to enhance residents’ daily living through engaging activities. You will lead group and individual programs, document care plans, and help organize activity calendars, while upholding facility policies and promoting resident participation in the Resident Council.

The role requires 1–2 years in a healthcare social/recreation setting and offers a full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing group and individual activity programs based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities, as identified in assessments and care plans.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar and coordinating events.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage resident participation in Resident Council and schedule monthly meetings.
