Job summary

Spring Harbor At Green Island is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and present meals for residents in a compliant, sanitary dining environment.

You will set up dining areas, deliver meal carts, assist with food preparation, and ensure temperatures are recorded and equipment is maintained. The role requires adherence to safety policies and ongoing training, with varying shifts including some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow dietary restrictions and meal plans.
• Work in a fast-paced dining environment with accuracy.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and privacy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining area and trays for meal services.
• Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service during procedures.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts and maintain dining areas for service.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and keep areas clean and stocked.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness.
• Follow Federal, State, and Community regulations and policies.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Complete mandatory training and certifications as applicable.
