Job summary

Apploi is seeking a General Dining Service staff member to support dining operations for guests/residents. You will prepare dining and tray service according to menus and dietary orders, serve meals and beverages, and respond to dining needs with hospitality and service standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of menu items, obtaining food and supplies as directed, and keeping accurate records of residents’ dietary needs, while adhering to local, state, and federal food safety

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining and tray service according to menus and follows therapeutic diet orders.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and can provide general description to the guests/residents.
• Responsible for serving meals, beverages and requested items according to established dietary and skilled nursing guidelines.
• Responds to the dining needs of the guests/residents while maintaining hospitality and service standards.
• Prepares and delivers snacks and nourishments as directed.
• Obtains food and supplies for meal service as directed.
• Maintains accurate records of resident’s dietary needs.
• Follows all local, state/provincial and federal policies regarding food handling.
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards.
