Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects in excess of 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, healthcare floor and facilities.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and clean windows, furniture, and fixtures.
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
• Manage waste collection and disposal per guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management promptly.
• Assist with setting up rooms for events or activities as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder as needed.
• Keep housekeeping storage areas clean and organized.
• Attend scheduled in-services and meetings.
• Inform supervisor of any problems or concerns related to the department.
