Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is hiring a Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will provide courteous table service, maintain cleanliness, assist with events, and support cost controls while upholding Cedarhurst’s dining standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in senior living is preferred. CPR/BLS is a plus, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR/HR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, especially in senior living.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR platforms is expected.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and provide courteous, accurate service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow all food safety standards.
• Assist with catering, room service, and special events.
• Prepare and reset tables, assist with dining areas, and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Communicate menu details and resident preferences to residents and staff.
