Yona is seeking a Food Services Director to lead the dietary department in a long-term care facility. You will plan, direct, and supervise dining services to meet federal, state, and local standards while uplifting meal quality and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Food service supervisory experience; long-term care preferred.
• Certifications: ServSafe Manager, CDM/CFPP recommended.

Responsabilités

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises dietary functions.
• Supervises and evaluates quality of work of department employees.
• Forecasts and plans purchases of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains staffing levels and scheduling for adequate services.
• Maintains records (inventory, compliance, finances, personnel).
• Conducts management meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Manages a cost-effective program to budget and ensures survey-readiness.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and professional growth of the team.
