Job summary

Yona Solutions seeks a Food Services Director to lead the dietary department in a long-term care facility. You will oversee planning, budgeting, staff development, and quality dining programs to meet federal, state, and local standards while delivering excellent resident experiences.

The role requires Supervisory experience, ServSafe leadership, and a strong emphasis on compliance, training, and cross-department coordination.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher in food service management or hospitality required.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers is required.
• CDM/CFPP certification preferred/required.
• Proficiency in Windows-based MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and operation of equipment.
• Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises dietary department functions.
• Supervises and evaluates quality of work by department staff.
• Forecasts and plans purchases of supplies and equipment.
• Plans staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Maintains records (inventory, compliance, income/expense, personnel).
• Conducts regular management meetings and coordinates with other departments.
