Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking an experienced Cook to prepare meals per menus for residents with special dietary needs. You will supervise dietary staff in the absence of leadership and ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment, while following confidentiality policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining services.
• Serv-Safe certification or willingness to certify within 60 days.
• Basic reading/writing and math skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to approved menus and recipes.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of leadership.
• Maintain a clean, orderly kitchen and comply with safety standards.
• Monitor temperatures, document twice daily, and report issues.
• Attend in-services and training as directed.
