Job summary

You’ll prepare meals per diet specifications, follow the Dietary Supervisor, and ensure sanitary guidelines while maintaining a clean kitchen and timely meal service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year cooking experience for a large group.
• Ability to scale and quantify recipes to meet facility needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and menu plans.
• Follow direction from the Dietary Supervisor to ensure consistency and quality.
• Comply with all facility dietary policies, procedures, and sanitary regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and portion control.
• Support timely meal service for residents.
