Job summary

Atrium Centers, a 100% employee-owned organization, is seeking a Cook to nourish residents with thoughtfully prepared meals that meet dietary needs and create a warm dining experience. You will prepare meals per diet plans and menus, follow the Dietary Supervisor, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, ensure proper food handling and timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cooking experience for a large group
• Long-term care or institutional experience preferred
• Ability to scale recipes to meet facility needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
• Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude
• Excellent attendance and reliability

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and menu plans
• Follow direction from the Dietary Supervisor to ensure consistency and quality
• Comply with all facility dietary policies, procedures, and sanitary regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and portion control
• Support timely meal service for residents
