Zusammenfassung

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a friendly dining server to courteously serve resident and guest meals and assist with tray service, cleaning, and resetting of the dining room after meals. You’ll interact with residents and guests while maintaining high hygiene and service standards.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for extended periods, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.
• Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Serve residents and guests meals, and handle cleaning and resetting of dining area after service.
• Assist residents when placing orders from the menu.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk, coffee/tea).
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls before and after meals.
• Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Understand sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Have a basic understanding of food preparation (salads, desserts, etc.).
• Knowledge of proper food storage and labeling techniques.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Complete all other duties assigned.
• Be attentive to special needs of residents including mobility and memory issues.
• Assist with tray service.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Interact in a polite, considerate manner with residents, guests, co-workers and supervisors.
