Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help maintain sanitation in kitchen areas, assist with dietary needs, and engage with residents and staff to ensure a positive dining experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic food service experience, and a team-oriented attitude. Compliance with vaccination policies and ability to lift moderate weights are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required, and COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
