Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will support nutritious dining experiences, follow dietary guidelines, and assist with general kitchen tasks in a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
