Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc invites you to join as a Dietary Aide, helping prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will support daily dining operations, follow dietary guidelines, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, ability to work in a team, and basic food-service experience. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a compassionate, resident-focused organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
