General Equipment & Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Resident Diesel Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment at customer sites across a fully remote role based in the Sioux Falls area.

You will operate a company vehicle, travel to sites, and perform repairs with an emphasis on safety and quality. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of diesel repair experience, a valid CDL or ability to obtain one, and strong communication skills to liaise with customers and follow

Qualifications

• Four or more years diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record; Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote field service environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and customer safety rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Must supply and maintain a complete set of metric and SAE hand tools, including 1-inch drive tooling.

# Resident Diesel Service TechnicianFully Remote • Sioux Falls - Sioux Falls, SD 57104## Description**OVERVIEW:**The Resident Field Diesel Technician is responsible for operating a company-issued service vehicle and traveling to customer locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy construction equipment. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient service that exceeds customer expectations. The position may require overtime, overnight travel, and occasional weekend work based on customer and business needs.
