Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Williston, ND is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to repair and service heavy equipment to OEM specifications. You will work closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure high quality, efficient repairs and process paperwork accurately.

The role may involve overtime, travel with overnight stays, and occasional weekend work. Requires a 2-year Diesel/Automotive tech degree or equivalent experience, valid driver’s license, and a CDL commitment.

Qualifications

  • Diesel/Automotive tech degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Class A CDL license required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintenance of machinery/components to OEM specs.
  • Perform quality repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Operate and test machinery and heavy equipment safely.
  • Assist with data collection for inventory control and paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.

OVERVIEW:This individual, working closely with the Shop Foreman is responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. This individual will also be responsible for servicing units to fulfill OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible.
