Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Diesel Technician to repair machinery and components to OEM specifications, with a focus on quality and efficiency. The role may involve overtime, travel with overnight stays, and weekend work on occasion.

Responsibilities include performing repairs with minimal supervision, maintaining records, attending service schools, and ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks. A minimum 2-year Diesel/Automotive Tech degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a valid

  • 2-year Diesel Technology or Automotive Technology degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with insurable record.
  • Willing to obtain Class A CDL.
  • Strong diagnostic and equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintenance jobs with minimal supervision.
  • Repair and recondition equipment components and systems to OEM specs.
  • Operate heavy construction equipment safely.
  • Complete all job paperwork accurately.
  • Attend service schools as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and proper tool care.

OVERVIEW:This individual, working closely with the Shop Foreman is responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. This individual will also be responsible for servicing units to fulfill OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible.
