Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking qualified Resident Construction Inspectors to manage and inspect sewer and water pumping station construction projects in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. You will perform on-site inspections, document contractor work, and coordinate testing and pay estimates with project teams.

The role requires an Associates degree in CM or CE with a BSCE preferred, and proven inspection experience on water/sewer facilities ($1M-$10M).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in CM or CEE required; BSCE preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a Resident Inspector on sewer/water pumping stations ($1M-$10M).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Primavera or Microsoft scheduling software.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as eBuilder, Oracle Unifier, Procore.

Responsibilities

• Performing full time, on-site inspections and documentation to monitor contractor work for contract compliance.
• Preparing daily and weekly reports on work accomplished by Contractors.
• Coordinating and observing materials testing and maintaining testing logs.
• Reviewing periodic pay estimates for accuracy with Contractors.
• Preparing sketches and data for Owner/Engineer use for changes to the project.
• Maintaining diaries and reporting on work accomplished or deficiencies.
