Qualifications

• 3+ years of affordable housing, subsidized housing, recertification, or similar experience.
• Knowledge of affordable housing and rental assistance programs.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret written regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong communication and resident-service skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience using property management/compliance software preferred.
• Affordable housing certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process new applicant and existing resident certification files
• Conduct resident interviews and collect required documentation
• Verify income, assets, household information, and other eligibility factors
• Complete income and rent calculations
• Track annual and interim certification deadlines
• Obtain required third-party verification documents
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready resident files
• Monitor applicant and waiting-list information
• Prepare files for compliance review
• Resolve missing information and documentation discrepancies
• Coordinate inspections and occupancy-related activities with property personnel
• Communicate professionally with residents, agencies, and internal staff
• Provide additional administrative support as needed
