Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group is seeking a Recertification Specialist to oversee resident certifications for HUD, LIHTC, IHDA programs. You will manage certifications from initiation to completion, meet with residents, collect signatures, and ensure documentation is accurate in OneSite.

The role supports audits, MORs, and reporting on waiting lists, rents, and deposits. A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a residential office are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in affordable housing with recertification responsibilities.
• Experience with HUD, LIHTC, IHDA programs is strongly preferred.
• Illinois Real Estate Leasing Agent License within 120 days if not held.

Responsibilities

• Manage all resident certifications and recertifications from initiation through completion.
• Meet with residents to complete questionnaires and third-party forms; obtain signatures.
• Enter certification data into OneSite and maintain compliant files.
• Support external audits, MORs and internal file reviews; assist reporting needs.
• Provide backup coverage for Property Manager duties and respond to resident inquiries.
